Produced in an extra tough, ultra light material, the four sizes of Polemaster Winder Bungs fit an extremely wide range of top sections.

Each Winder Bung will hold numerous turns of elastic, allowing small lengths to be let out or wound in and precise adjustments to be made to the tension of your pole elastic. The Medium and Large sizes will even hold several turns of larger diameter Drennan Carp Bungee hollow elastic.

The winder section has a dovetail joint, which allows it to be separated from the tapered bung and reassembled with ease if necessary. The tapered cone section also has a small drainage channel in each side to prevent water becoming trapped inside the top sections.

The tapered cones on the four sizes of bung each have a ribbed section which can be cut down with a sharp knife or junior hacksaw. This simple modification gives each size a maximum and minimum diameter. The range can therefore be made to fit all pole sections and top kits with an internal bore between 10mm and 30mm.

These ultra light Wnder Bungs weigh so little that they will have minimal effect on the balance or action of your pole.

On standard take-apart poles the Winder Bung needs to fit inside the section, just beyond joint depth and within easy reach of the extractor rod. The extractor rod has a positive twist-lock location system so it is very easy to remove a Winder Bung from its position inside the pole section.

As these two-part winders can be separated from the bung section it makes them interchangeable, providing an increased range of storage options and therefore further scope for tension adjustments to the pole elastic.

All pole elastic is prone to damage and wear, particularly at the tip end where the rig line or connector is attached. Having spare elastic on the winder not only allows you to adjust the tension but also to periodically cut back the elastic, eliminating the worn tip section.

If you order an item and it isn’t what you expected then we’ll happily take most products back (within 14 days from date of receipt) as long as it is in unused, as new condition and in its original packaging. Non faulty goods returned may be subject to a 20% handling charge of the cost of goods purchased.

Any non-faulty items which are returned outside of 14 days from the date of receipt may be subject to a 25% restocking charge which will be deducted from the final refund.

Please note that ALL non-faulty items must be returned in saleable condition and in all original packaging otherwise a larger restocking figure may be applied as we will be unable to resell the item as new or at anything near its true value.

For some items, such as made-to-order, special ordered items or personal use or hygiene products unfortunately we are unable to take the products back. The Customer shall comply with the ATG Fishing returns procedure as defined below. ATG Fishing will not accept any returned goods should the returns procedure not be followed.

The Customer must contact ATG Fishing by either telephone or by e-mail to obtain a returns authorisation. A returns code will be issued and must be referred to in all correspondence. This number must also be clearly marked on any returned packages. The customer is responsible for returning the goods with 14 days of receiving the item.

In cases where the faulty or damaged goods are rejected within 14 days, the Customer is entitled to a replacement, alternative goods or a refund. The faulty or damaged product must be returned to the location specified by ATG Fishing before the refund or replacement can be issued.

All refunds will be issued within 14 working days of an order being cancelled or items returned.

ATG Fishing accepts no responsibility over returns shipping costs for rejected items unless they are faulty in which case ATG Fishing will cover the normal cost of returning the goods via tracked post or courier but will not cover the cost of express, next day, Saturday, am, special or any other form of expedited delivery.
