Korda Long Chuck Tapered Mainline
New from Korda, the Long Chuck Tapered Mainlines are designed for when you want to fish at distance without having to use a leader knot. This can be essential to safely cast at range on waters which have banned the use of a leader. It also comes in handy when fishing on heavily weeded lakes where the weed can gather around your shock leader knot.

The Long Chuck Tapered Mainline comes in 300m spools, and at each end of that there is an 8m section of 0.47mm (30lb) diameter line designed to act as a shockleader, taking the force of the cast. This also offers good abrasion resistance when playing a carp. After the 30lb section the line tapers down to whichever diameter of main line you have chosen. It is exactly the same at both ends, so should you experience a cut-off, you can simply reverse the line on your spool and use it again.

These tapered leaders feature the same properties as the Long Chuck main line. They are made with no added dye which makes them lighter, with less stretch. The low stretch means you can compress the rod quicker on the cast, adding distance. They also boast a very low water absorption rate which means they are lighter and stay in the air longer. Finally the lines have a high breaking strain to diameter ratio which helps to reduce drag.

If you order an item and it isn’t what you expected then we’ll happily take most products back (within 14 days from date of receipt) as long as it is in unused, as new condition and in its original packaging. Non faulty goods returned may be subject to a 20% handling charge of the cost of goods purchased.

Any non-faulty items which are returned outside of 14 days from the date of receipt may be subject to a 25% restocking charge which will be deducted from the final refund.

Please note that ALL non-faulty items must be returned in saleable condition and in all original packaging otherwise a larger restocking figure may be applied as we will be unable to resell the item as new or at anything near its true value.

For some items, such as made-to-order, special ordered items or personal use or hygiene products unfortunately we are unable to take the products back. The Customer shall comply with the ATG Fishing returns procedure as defined below. ATG Fishing will not accept any returned goods should the returns procedure not be followed.

The Customer must contact ATG Fishing by either telephone or by e-mail to obtain a returns authorisation. A returns code will be issued and must be referred to in all correspondence. This number must also be clearly marked on any returned packages. The customer is responsible for returning the goods with 14 days of receiving the item.

In cases where the faulty or damaged goods are rejected within 14 days, the Customer is entitled to a replacement, alternative goods or a refund. The faulty or damaged product must be returned to the location specified by ATG Fishing before the refund or replacement can be issued.

All refunds will be issued within 14 working days of an order being cancelled or items returned.

ATG Fishing accepts no responsibility over returns shipping costs for rejected items unless they are faulty in which case ATG Fishing will cover the normal cost of returning the goods via tracked post or courier but will not cover the cost of express, next day, Saturday, am, special or any other form of expedited delivery.
